On-Demand: Accelerating Growth with an Organization-Wide Marketplace Mindset with Decathlon & Accenture

The marketplaces that deliver the most impact are integrated into your core online customer experience and omnichannel strategy, reinforcing your brand’s values and customer promise. To achieve that, you need to clearly demonstrate the added value and positive impact the marketplace brings to your entire organization.

During this on-demand session, you’ll get a deep dive on how to align the different parts of the retail organization in support of a successful marketplace, from the C-suite to the merchandising team. Charles-Emmanuel Nelis, Head of Digital at Decathlon UK, will share the pitfalls that Decathlon encountered, and the critical lessons they learned to achieve a fast launch, agile international expansion, and continual scale at a speed that only the marketplace model provides.

Our Mirakl marketplace experts will be joined by Accenture's own Laurent Thoumine, Managing Director Head of Retail in Europe and Consumer Goods in France & Benelux, to share the best practices you need to convince key stakeholders in your organization to adopt a marketplace mindset today, so that you can stay ahead of the game.

Watch this on-demand session to discover:

  • A clear vision on the benefits of the marketplace for each stakeholder, from improved customer experience, increased customer acquisition, revenue growth, a larger product offering, or inventory risk management.
  • The common pitfalls to avoid and the best practices that have helped hundreds of Platform Pioneers maximize the impact of their marketplace strategies.
  • Concrete recommendations to align business units on the ways that your marketplace will deliver greater value to your customers and the organization.
