Prior to that, he worked on the store (brick and mortar) side of the business as a senior director of Pricing Strategy and senior manager of Finance and Strategy. He also led the pricing strategy team at S.C. Johnson and served in a variety of leadership roles in pricing, category management and sales at General Mills.
Amber has built an unconventional background on her road to digital strategy: With a B.S. in Merchandising and Design from Ball State University, she found a unique way to combine her love of service, trend forecasting, and design by developing designer eyewear for New York Fashion Week and consulting on sustainable eyecare initiatives in African clinics. She transitioned her development and consulting skills to Kroger where she was E-commerce hire #4. She now focuses on the strategy and implementation of new digital merchandising initiatives and in three and a half years, she’s launched and enabled four new businesses at Kroger. In 2019, Amber was recognized in partnership with the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce as a diverse, high achieving female leader.
